Had both cars serviced/repaired with them a few times and generally no issues. However, last week, one of the cars went in for a full service and a tyre also needed changing. The problems became apparent a few days following the service due to violently vibrating steering wheel when doing 50 - 70 mph. Subsequently, asked for a second opinion from a national chain on the Sunday, who confirmed with evidence that the wheel had simply not been balanced - they even left the old weight on the rim. This led to suspicion on what else was missed. Reservoirs were also not topped up despite being stated on the invoice. Initial calls to raise this issue was met with denial, claiming the work was done. They even tried to fob me off with the story that wheel weights can dislodge... clearly not the case here and I have evidence that says otherwise. This was met with an apology, but a request for a part refund for the work clearly not carried out was refused. Feel very let down and disappointed by this, especially when previous experiences were generally positive.
My confidence in this firm is gone, and as a result of this event, I will never take any vehicle to them again. The issue has also been reported to trading standards.
