I had a free eyetest at a high street chain who prescribed my glasses. I went to get the prescription itself made up into lenses at The Specs Factory, who gave me another test and told me that I didn't need glasses at all. I appreciate their honesty and the level of service was entirely different and much more personal, too. Thanks! :)
